President & CEO, Canada Pork International
Martin Lavoie was recently appointed President and CEO of Canada Pork International (CPI), the association of Canadian pork exporters. In the previous six years, Martin was an integral part of the management teams for two major Canadian meat companies trading in Asia. Prior to those positions, he was Vice President of Market Access and Trade Development for Asia, Europe, Africa for CPI. Martin has been involved in the Canadian pork industry in international trade development and regulatory issues for the past 20 years and brings a business-minded vision to the organization.
He holds degrees in Industrial Relations and Business Administration from Laval University and completed his graduate studies at École des Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC) in Montreal.
