Senior Director of Commercial Strategy, Air Canada
Timothy Liu joined Air Canada in 2016 and is the Senior Director of Commercial Strategy. Timothy leads Air Canada’s International Sales organization across 40 markets on six continents and is responsible for launching and ensuring the commercial success of Air Canada’s new international routes.
Prior to joining Air Canada, Timothy served as the Senior Director – International Sales / Asia and the Director of Network Strategy at Hawaiian Airlines, where he led the company’s rapid network expansion and hub development. Previously he was a management consultant with Bain & Company, and a customer loyalty strategy consultant at Brierley & Partners. Timothy has also held revenue management positions at United Airlines and Northwest Airlines.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Strategic Management from The University of Chicago.
